Parking

There is a small dedicated visitors’ car park at the Highfield campus where spaces can be pre-booked on normal University days. This car park is for visitors only and is not for the use of staff, students or contractors. The facility is staffed throughout the day from Mondays to Fridays.

On entering University Road from Burgess Road, turn right into Salisbury Road. The visitors car park is the first car park on the right and has a grey attendant’s cabin at the entrance. Please contact your host to pre-arrange parking in this area.

Any visitors to Highfield who have not been pre-booked or issued with a permit should use the Pay and Display car park. Use of this car park is strictly by payment at one of the 2 machines provided. No permits are accepted.

Free two hour parking is available in the nearby residential roads.

The University has a variety of bicycle parking options. There are numerous lockable cycle stores across the campus. Please contact Chemistry Visitor Enquiries in advance to use this facility as this will need to be pre-arranged with Unilink and an access code provided. Alternatively most buildings have cycle bays installed around them. Please see our cycle store map to view the nearest lockable store and parking bays to Chemistry.
