Chemistry Stores

About Us

Our Stores team provide local support to the School of Chemistry. We retain stock and order goods from external suppliers. Solvents, Chemicals, Consumables and Stationery are available from Chemistry Stores. We coordinate deliveries and assist in the disposal of all waste such as solvents, silica, alumina and sharps.

Keith Cowley and Mark Broomfield x23323, Building 27, Room 1077 are the technical staff responsible for running the stores.

Opening Hours & Location

Chemistry Stores are open from 11:00 to 12:30 and 13:30 to 15:20,
5 days a week. We are located in Building 27, Room 1077. Please email the team m.broomfield@soton.ac.uk or k.cowley@soton.ac.uk outside of these hours and we will respond as quickly as possible.

Deliveries

Deliveries for Chemistry should be taken to the loading bay area off Hartley Avenue. Please contact the Chemistry Stores team in advance if you will be delivering with a heavy vehicle or require assistance with unloading.
